Walt Disney Pictures is bezig met de productie van “Hannah Montana: The Movie.”
De film zal in het voorjaar van 2009 in de bioscopen te zien en wordt gefilmed in Los Angeles, Nashville. Miley Cyrus die in de Disney Channel serie ”"Hannah Montana” de hoofdrol speelt zal ook in deze film de hoofdrol spelen. Het is haar eerste speelfilm De film zal een genre hebben van: avonturen/komedie die gebaseerd zal zijn op de tv serie waar Miley Cyrus de rol al vertolkt van Hannah Montana waar ze tiener meisje speelt die een geheim leven als popster heeft. De film zal geregiseerd worden door Peter Chelsom.De serie is al in verschillende landen te zien in Nederland maken we net kennis met “Hannah Montana” en is elke zaterdag om 17:05 uur te zien en zondag tegen 11:35uur (herhaling) bij Jetix Europe.
